We speak of many things that exist only in sleep, only in dreams
Until they exist outside of dreams, outside of sleep
There are many things that fall away to nothingness
Dreams and sleep and tears and laughter
And everything else that makes up a life, a life lived
There are many things that rise and fly above the line of the sky
Where some few people even live and others may wish to, may dream of a life lived there
And to some few people, or many people, that is only what exists in sleep
Or to others it is only what exists awake
And so we write it down and so it would exist for all people forever
And there are tears that do not fall away to nothing or rise above to fly
But they become solid, and in a window catch the sunlight to fill the room with color
And I would hang one in her window
And it would remind us of many things
And it would hang forever
Forever means every day that happens
Every day that happens
